Tezseract LLC provides communication services used by healthcare providers to send transactional SMS messages such as appointment reminders and account notifications.
How SMS Consent Is Collected
Patients opt in to receive SMS messages via a paper patient intake form completed in person at the healthcare provider’s office.
The intake form includes the following consent language:
“I consent to receive SMS/text messages related to my care and appointments from Tezseract-powered systems. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.”
SMS messages are never sent before consent is obtained and recorded in the system.
Message Purpose
SMS messages are strictly transactional and may include:
- Appointment reminders
- Scheduling notifications
- Account-related alerts
Opt-Out
Patients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.
